Desperate to identify this beauty

Hello, grew these from seeds (mixed pack), and would love to know what they called. Any ideas gratefully accepted. Thanks, Julie

I think they might be Impatiens balsamina aka Rose Balsam.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

You are welcome, Julie.  Is that a snail I see in the first photo in your second post?

That triggers a trip down memory lane.  When my mum and dad bought their first house in 1960, there were lots of those plants in the front garden, and we didn't know what it was.  One member of the family commented it looked like a miniature palm tree, with all the leaves at the top of a tall stem.  Another said the leaves were a bit like rhubarb.  My dad went through lots of books in the library until he found it, listed as "Zambezi balsam".  But en famille, it was known for ever and a day as palm rhubarb.
