New house - no idea where to start!

  • So, to provide an update...

    After a lot of hard work, we've cleared an ungodly amount of rubble, weeds and roots out of the ground and this is what we're left with:



    I understand it's currently a good time to seed a lawn which I think is our next step. Any advice on how to get the best results? The soil is still quite stoney (still working on removing as much as possible) and quite clay-like. Can we seed in the soil as it is? Better to get some topsoil in first?
