Yes, they start falling over like that as they near maturity. I wait until all of the tops have done that and then lift the bulbs, leaving the roots intact but shaking off any soil. I leave them on the surface of the bed (or somewhere dry if a lot of rain is forecast) until the roots are dry and crispy, then they are ready to store.

That’s great thank you. After posting I did wonder if if the wind might’ve caused it. A few more have flopped overnight. Good to know all good though. Cheers
