Is this bindweed??

Hi!
We don’t have bindweed thank god but 4 doors down does. Can it spread seeds via the air because I’ve found suspicious seedlings in my garden- 2 in open ground with thin roots and one in my pot of lilies (see pic)

Am so worried!

Oh no! Are they easier to remove as they’re small? The roots weren’t  fibrous yet!

Answer, yes, it looks like it has moved in. However, you ought to be able to keep on top of it if you continue to remove it.  Make sure that you loosen the soil so that you get ALL of the roots. It might have been dropped by birds. I've never really thought about how it moves around as previous gardens have had their fair share which I was never able to eradicate,  try as I did. I used to call it 'friend' as it kept so many plants company.
