Apple disease

I have an infection on one of my apple trees. But not the other (a different type). What is it and how do I cure it.

Hello pipingdesigner and welcome to the forum. It looks very much like your apple tree is suffering from apple scab. In the grand scheme of things the apples will still be edible as the scabby areas can be cut out. There is no real treatment available. There is some information here:
