Seems there is an additional plant growing in the Hakonechloa I bought at local GC.
Can anyone identify whether a weed or a little bonus worth potting up and persevering with?

    It looks like a birch seedling, or something similar.
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Difficult to tell from the photo. I would pot it up and see what happens.

    I would say it’s a tree seedling, I’d throw it away. 
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    See if you can get it out carefully you might see what kind of seed is at the other end as it looks fairly young and new.

    I also think a tree or shrub of some kind, we rarely end up with a real goody. Though fun to try if you are optimistic and can get it out and pot on.
