Is it still ok to run a rake over the lawn at this time of the year?  We have a little scarifing machine that has a rake attachment on.  Now we are in July should I steer well away from that?  ie would I stress the lawn of would it do it good?  Many thanks

A gentle rake is ok and I mean gentle but otherwise no best to wait for mid September / October.
