Apple spot ID plz

1st one is the full. Blown version and the second is the early stage. 

It's a 3 year old  cooking apple on dwarf stock and clay soil. It's been fed etc. I don't spray it.

Hope someone knows what this is.

    Could be something like that but I notice that these are always in the US.

    Yes, it's hard to find good photos on fruit tree disease ID sites and there are far more US-based sites than UK ones.  Even the RHS is severely lacking in the photo department.  Whenever I see any kind of blemish (which rarely turn out to be benign when on fruit) I usually remove them at an early stage so they never get to be photographed! :)
