Deadly Nightshade?

Any idea if this is deadly nightshade? First year I have noticed this plant on the garden. Last winter it started to grow very tall and now is developing some purple flowers.

Definitely not Atropa Belladonna, what it is I'm not sure, looks like a Solanum. Someone else may be able to tell you what it is.

Looks a bit like the Blue Potato Bush, Lycianthus Rantonnetii. My mum had one growing in a pot. They are not all that hardy. Best to see the flowers or more of the bush to be sure.
