Plant ID please

Hi

This is a photo of my neighbour’s plant who cannot remember what it is!

It produces white flowers. Can anyone here ID it? I’m really hoping to get one for my garden! It’s the plant behind the canes. It just gone into flower.

    Look like Hollyhock.
    Perthshire. SCOTLAND .
  • It’s the plant between the Hollyhocks and canes. :)

Could be phlox ? Or maybe l'm looking at the wrong thing 😊
  • It could be Phlox, but I think it also could be an Aster called Michaelmas Daisy - mauve/purple flowers in late summer, bees and butterflies love it.  Prune early next spring down to a few inches.
  • I’m going to add a picture now it’s started to flower ..

My 50p is on phlox  :)
  • I don't know Phlox, but I do know that it isn't Michaelmas Daisy.
  • Thanks I will look up Phlox and see if I can find it ! Fingers crossed !

Definitely phlox. I have a similar one, "Fujiyama" (I think mine gets a bit taller but that could be because it doesn't get sun all day long).
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
