dwarf sour cherry tree

bought 2 years ago a dwarf sour cherry tree and I want to move it. When is the best time to do it. Do I have to prune it before moving - hasn't grown much yet - only 3 long branches.

    I would wait until it loses its leaves in winter, then you don't have to prune it. Do it before frosts etc set in.
