Water lilly

Why won't my waterlilly flower?? I bought it last year. It has leaves but no flowers.

    Do you have a fountain? Water lilies prefer still water. You also have to give it time. One of mine, put in 15 months ago, has yet to form flowers. Those put in the year before are doing magnificently.

    Yes it does . The pond is in  a liner and is at  least 10 years old. It flowered last year

    Perhaps it needs fertiliser. Online you can get conical pellets of slow release fertiliser specially formulated for pond plants. You push two or three into the plant container.

    Nobyhe lilly is only 1 y r which flowered last year. Would it need feeding in it's second year?? Every year??

    Mine's late this year.  Last year it has just starting flowering by now.  Don't give up on it yet.
