    Hi @Fairygirl - I've no idea of the variety - I took some seed heads from one I found growing wild - presumably a garden escape. I just recognised it as 'tangutica' ... I like the unobtrusive flowers (they're not to everyone's taste, I admit) and it was growing quite merrily in my local environment, so I thought it would survive my wild garden. I'm just surprised that many of the seeds have germinated!

    It's good to try these things @Foxies- I'm too lazy ! 
    @Richard Hodson, who runs Hawthorne's clem nursery, might pop in and see this. He'll be able to give you much better info than me  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
