Hi, I'm wondering what this might be. It looks like I might have planted it intentionally.

    you probably planted it for the Cinnabar moth larvae :)

    Be careful with this. It is toxic to animals even if dried up after cutting it off. Wear gloves to handle it too as it can be toxic to humans. Better safe than sorry.
