Help identifying plant in garden with berries.
Please see attached picture and advise please. Paranoid they are poisonous with my young children around. Many thanks.
Hypericum sp pr named cultivar.
Perthshire. SCOTLAND .
It’s probably Hypericum Androsaemum, sometimes called Tutsan or St Johns Wort. Berries are toxic so be mindful of that. Used often for flower arrangers. A lovely easy plant.

A great many popular garden plants are poisonous if eaten. Children need to be taught not to eat anything they find anywhere, without consulting a grownup. Until you can rely on them to do that, it's best to supervise them in the garden. That's not being paranoid, it's being a caring and responsible parent.
