Wildlife gardening
good morning, we would like to hang birdfeeders from our pergola, we are wondering about predators and possibility of spreading disease by encouraging birds to one location

Anywhere small birds gather to eat from feeders, you will find the odd sparrowhawk, cats, rats. But don't be put off.....it's all part of life's rich pattern. Just make sure you don't leave seed on the ground for rats to eat and clean the area thoroughly on a regular basis to ward off disease.
