Crown gall, canker or what?

Hi I have a really beautil cherry fan tree. However it now has growths around the base (see picture). Also a number of the branch joints have sap oozing from them. I'm not sure if this is crown gall, canker or whether I'm making a mountain out of a mole Hill?

    Hi Thanks  I feared as much. This means removing it and will create a real gap. No idea what to put in it's place as can't put another fruit tree there for a few years as I understand.
