Well @Ericaheather if it does turn out to be Common sorrel (and you can get the pictures online and compare your plant to the pictures) I would say remove it. That is what I would do anyway.

I think L'bird is right with her ID, but regardless of what it is, it will only take nutrients and water from the sweet peas which need it, so yes, remove it
