Some kind of hypericum?

ManderMander Posts: 334
I have several of these popping up around the garden. Years ago I bought a hypericum at poundland but to my knowledge it just died. It looks like a hypericum of some kind to my extremely amateur eye but I'm not sure. I pulled some of them up but if it's worth having I might try to transplant them to a better location.

It's a Hypericum, probably H. androsaemum if it's seeding around.

  • I have a Hypericum in my garden, giving lovely colour, flowers for the bees and berries for the birds - in my view it is worth keeping.

Ah, another self seeder. I seem to have a lot of self seeding shrubs and trees! I guess that's why the garden is such a wreck...

Probably great for wildlife though :)

Very true and part of why I've let it go crazy! I always feel vaguely guilty when I destroy tiny ecosystems by weeding...  :o
