Hi, is this unusual?? Never seen anything like it before!!

    It can happen quite often.  Disbudding the smaller bud will make the remaining flower bigger.

    Hi Shane, what you have there is called fasciation.  Some plants are more prone to it than others.  For more examples, there's a thread on this forum called "Fascinated by fasciation".

    But I'd leave the one photographed alone. It's too big to disbud now and if you try you'll probably break both off.
