Help! My lemon tree is doing strange things

Hi 

I’m a first time grower of a lemon tree, I bought a small tree for keeping indoors. It’s in a bright well ventilated area. It seemed to be doing well but recently it’s grown two new shoots wit really big leaves and it’s dropping it’s old leaves. Any advice for what I should do?

    Hi, you do have it right next to a window, so the temperature variation between day and night may be an issue - direct sun focussed through the window will act like a magnifying glass, equally if it gets cold overnight the window will intensify that. Dropping leaves is a sign of a stressed plant. The most common problem, tho, is lack of thorough watering, and making sure it drains properly afterward, so no standing in a puddle of water.
