My wife thinks the blue flower is a cornflower but I do not remember planting any.  Other suggestions please?  Bloom is about 3-4cms across.  Thanks.

It's Catananche caerulea. Very easy, good-natured perennial plant.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

Thanks both but Jenny gets the coconut - I do remember the name now, it was the blue which attracted me.  I suppose it ia all downhill from here..... :)  Will move it to better places for next year.  Have a good weekend.
