Should cuttings be kept in shade?

Should i put box & privet cuttings in the shade? Is now a suitable time to take cuttings if each?

    Yes! Sunlight is not a cutting’s friend.

    Agreed - I keep mine outside but in the shade. They can take more direct sunlight once they’ve taken!
