    Delphinium ..a gorgeous strong plant.

    That’s a gorgeous delphinium. Easy to look after if you don’t have a major problem with slugs and snail. They like the young shoots in the spring.

    Can't believe it's something so obvious! It was in the grounds of a hotel. Was about 6 foot tall - that was what threw us!

    We do have problems with both slugs and snails eating everything. We are new to gardening, so this is all a learning curve. We are reluctant to use and sort of chemical repellent products but saw and item on GW last Friday on hostas and they said they boil up garlic bulbs, strain then mix with water and spray on the plant to deter the beasts. We are going to give this a go. Have others had success with this?
