Lawn weed identification assistance

Hi all, looking for some help identifying the above weed please which has become prevelent on the lawn in various, separate areas. No flowering as of yet... More pics  available in situ if required. Thanks.

    Ah. Apologies then for a daft question but thankyou very much for your help. Appreciated. I have just carried out some dethatching, aerating, top dressing and overseeding (despite being the wrong time of year)  so i suppose it should be expected! I'll just keep working away at it then by removing and weedkiller once the new grass seeds are quite established. Thanks again.

    I find digging them out with a Daisy Grubber works well. 😊
