Peony ‘Hillary’ - companion plant.
We have been given an intersectional peony ‘Hillary’ - a gorgeous, very healthy potted plant and an extremely generous gift.

It will be planted in a new bed, triangular in shape: greenhouse on one side (3 metres), wildlife hedge on the second (4 metres), lawn on the third (6 metres). I am seeking advice on what plants might complement it. As a kind of raspberry pink fading to cream colour I was thinking a deep blue/purple salvia such as Mainacht but I would welcome other suggestions for plants to go behind, in front or alongside it. Annuals, perennials, shrubs - I have no strong preference. Thanks for any tips.
