Just wanted to share photo of this gorgeous Acer in my friends garden. It lifts my spirits every time I see it.

And 2nd one is from another friends late afternoon, am not a great photographer so don’t think I’ve caught that the colours looked magical in that light.

    That acer just makes you want to run your fingers through it!

    It's lovely. There's one of those near me, and I must admit to feeling the same about running fingers through it!  :)
    I once viewed a house, and the owner was clearly a keen gardener. He also had one and it was a really beautiful specimen. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
