Can anyone ID this peony looking flower?

hello,

I have found this single flower in the garden can anyone tell me what it is?

It seems to pretty to be a weed and how best to repot it?

    Papaver somniferum (Opium Poppy) ; very variable with single and double forms .Don't attempt to re-pot as roots are very fragile .
    Will seed around .

    Thank you Paul, is it considered a weed? and if not how best to move it before my children destroy it!

    If you can persuade your children not to destroy it before the seed ripens , well done !
    It looks quite a large plant , but if you water first then lift as large a rootball as physically possible , move it and then water in again , you may succeed !

    Currently it has only that single flower and is growing among rocks.

    Some gardeners consider anything a weed that isn't planted by themselves ; others are more open-minded about things .
    If you like it , then in your opinion it isn't a weed ; they seed prolifically but are easily hoed out to keep numbers under control .

    If growing among rocks , can't it be cordoned off with wire ?

    My my son has just brought me the single severed head as I liked it so much 😩

    It is not a weed babydcruze but try not to move it for all the reasons Paul B3 mentioned at first. Let it set seed and then collect some and sow them where you would like them to grow.

    I will leave it wear it is as it came on so well! 

    My poor little man was only trying to help! 

    I will let the head dry out and see if I get any seeds.
