Fuchsia Magellicana

Didn't get around to pruning it, and it badly needs a haircut.
If i gave it a lightish  tidy up prune now, would it produce more flower buds later? If not, I'll leave it as it's covered in flower buds at the moment

    Depends if you really can’t stand it as it is,  if it were mine I would leave it to flower, the bees love them, then next Feb/March cut it down to about 6” from the ground, it will flower on the new growth it makes by summer.

    No it's Ok. I'll leave it. Thanks @Lyn. Just pruned the bay tree - brown binful+  and my secateurs were twitching😉

    My bay need a good prune, blackbirds nesting in there at the moment though.

    Sparrows use mine for cover but no nests fortunately. I prefer to do it this time of year as you can see what you're doing with the soft green growth.
    Next job jet off the aphids. I quite like doing that😊

    Evergreens make lovely shelters in the winter, Ive got some hideously huge outgrown shrubs but have to leave them for the birds to shelter.
