Can anyone tell us what to do with these flowers after flowering, and when to dig up split and move. Also been called Old fashioned Gladiola.

Providing you’re not too far north,  and they’re in free draining soil in a sunny spot I’d just leave them to get on with it.

Would it do any harm if the flowering spike was cut off.

If you don’t want it to set seed then you can ... but if you want it to naturalise around I’d leave the seedheads.
