Do you know this plant?

luxilluxil Posts: 2
Some 10 years ago I bought this plant, which I believe is a species of hebe, with then a height of about 15 cm. Because of its rapid growth I put it a couple of years later in open ground. Now he measures about 2 x 1 meter. For the first time in all these years it bloomed now with small lilac flowers, each less than 1 cm. Anyboy knows the specific name of this plant? Thanks a lot in advance!

Good morning luxil and welcome to the forum. Your plant is a Whipcord hebe. It is rather difficult to know which one it is as there are many but yours looks a lovely specimen.

    Hi Ladybird4 and Lyn,
Thanks you for your quick answers.
This is the first time in odd ten years that we have flowers in this shrub.
At first we thought there was a disease coming up!
