Many thanks Fire for the info...it was in my lawn two years ago so I potted up because I liked the colour, but I do think it does need to be controlled somewhat?
Thanks B3..they are a lovely flower...i do dead head before they go to seed though...are they too much trouble to keep or discard...I have not noticed any insects being attracted to them?
Fine in a pot as it spreads by runners on or near the surface. They seed profusely though, so best to dead-head them before the mini-dandelion-like seedheads form.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
