Lingustrum ovalifolium. I love the smell of the flowers ... they remind me of holidays in Brittany where the hedges are full of them ... to the huge benefit of the bees 😊

Ohhh I did want to say privet but didn’t want to seem stupid when it wasn’t! I thought privet had smaller round leaves and smaller flowers, only because where I used to live the old boy next door had a privet hedge and a lovely front garden sadly he passed away the house was sold & the young couple who bought the house dig up the garden & gravelled it over for more parking & dig up the hedge & put in a wall , I remember the sparrows always nesting in the hedge.
