Euonymus alatus Burning Bush

I have just had the plant in the header delivered. It is a very young plant. I was expecting red leaves but they are green. Is this normal? Will the leaves turn red if it is the right plant?

    At this time of year they are green.  They turn red in autumn.   It is a deciduous plant so just like the autumn colour in other shrubs like cornus magic flame.
