A couple more plants to identify. The red flower was in our wild patch and the grass was on a nearby common land.

The grass is Wild Barley Grass - Hordeum murinum.

Thank you Silver Surfer and Ladybird4.  I was told the Clarkia was invasive, but I don't think it is. I have read up on the link you gave me and there is no mention of it being invasive.

I have seen the Wild Barley Grass time and time again, and was never sure of it's actual name, so now I know.

The person who told you that your plant was invasive might have mistaken it for himalayas balsam (similar flower colour).
