I feel I should know what the first one is I’m sure as soon as someone says the name I’ll say ohhh yes that’s it! And the second one has a very big leaf with white flowers just coming out

    Viburnum opulus
    I guess.
  • 2nd pic is oak leaf hydrangea - hydrangea quercifolia. Not sure on the sub species though.

    I think the first one is Hesperis matronalis Alba.

    Oh just realised I should have put this in plants not problem solving so sorry! Thanks for the replies! Yes the second ones flowers do look like a hydrangea now you say it !

    I think the first one is a white campion/catchfly : silene latifolia. It has the distinctive puffed up calyx behind the flower.

    The second I agree is oak leaved hydrangea.
