Thank you very much for solving the mystery Kitty, the flowers are very small, I have several Azaleas but non look like this one, is it a dwarf variety?
Just a random thought... Could your larger flowering shrubs be rhododendrons? I think the best way to tell is to count the stamens in an open flower. Azaleas have 5 (?) and rhodies have 10.
