Yet another ‘Jelly like substance’ thread

I don’t think they can be water retaining granules as I don’t use them. There are around 20 such blobs on the lawn under a cherry tree.

    My guess would be unfertilised frog spawn.  Or of course could be the mythical star jelly!

  • Did you ever find out what this is? Looks very like mine and I don’t use water retaining compost either. This is in the middle of my lawn today. Seems a weird time of year to find something new.

    If its green and slimy its probably nostok, I am plagued by it but usually on hard surfaces not on the lawn.
