Yet another ‘Jelly like substance’ thread

I don’t think they can be water retaining granules as I don’t use them. There are around 20 such blobs on the lawn under a cherry tree.

My guess would be unfertilised frog spawn. Or of course could be the mythical star jelly!

Did you ever find out what this is? Looks very like mine and I don’t use water retaining compost either. This is in the middle of my lawn today. Seems a weird time of year to find something new.

If its green and slimy its probably nostok, I am plagued by it but usually on hard surfaces not on the lawn.
