What is this plant?

I planted some very large bulbs which were labelled as allium ‘summer drummer’.  Now, I’m not an expert, but the resulting plants don’t look at all like the alliums I’m used to growing!  This pic was taken a few weeks ago - they are now approx 5.5ft high.  What on earth are they??

They are a plant in the allium family, so could be rather leggy summer drummer.  Is this a spot in full sun?

There’s a flower bud beginning on the one in the middle, so you’ll know for sure soon!

When you plant an allium, does it just produce one flower spike per bulb?

Hi @Annieb.1  Below is a link to a recent summer drummer query which also contains past discussions about this allium.

You were not alone in being puzzled by them.
    Hope this is helpful 😊

@Orchidia. I'm not 100% certain, but I think it is one spike per bulb. ?

Thank you so much for this link - it’s exactly the same plant!  So I just need to wait for it to flower!
