I just want his potting shed (with all the tools), the walled garden area outside the shed, the greenhouses and coldframes, his team of gardeners and his budget. It's not much to ask for surely...

I think it's very reasonable WE, you do know the winner collects don't you?

I hardly ever watch gardening programmes because they are so unrealistic.  None of us have the resources the TV gardeners have:  huge spaces, potting sheds, greenhouses, a team of undergardeners, seemingly limitless budgets, and nothing else to do but garden.

I get much more help and encouragement on this forum, from gardeners who live in the real world, who fit their gardens round jobs, families, age-related ailments, and limited time and money.

I don't actually have Monty garden envy, although I'd love the ££££ to spend :D

Glad I am not the only one! Apologies Nigel and Nellie!❤️❤️ Such a relaxing show and the best on tv! Might not be able to afford those impressive terracotta pots, but you do get loads of ideas for colours and little touches and ideas! Agree, gardens may be humble, or grand like Montys, but they enrich us ALL with something quite magical!⭐️

I'd love to know were he got that lovely watering can from, the one with the very fine rose which he uses to water all his seedlings etc.
There you go: watercan envy 💚

I don't have garden envy, but I would really like to visit and have a look round. Perhaps I'd stop short of setting up home in the potting shed though.

    True.
But although I know it, I still watch GW because it's a bit like gardening Eastenders. Mostly unrealistic, but very nice to unwind and forget the real world outside to!

Someone once looked at me in wonderment as I came in with muddy wellies, thorns in my hair, a smudged dirty face, and dirty fingernails🤔

Can I ask you something- they said

    WHY DO YOU BOTHER GARDENING?🤔

    WHATS THE POINT?

    I looked at them for a second😐

THE POINT IS - THERE IS NO POINT - I replied😐 and with that I swished down a cup of cold tea, and returned outside to clear up the soggy mess and admire my work!

    To conclude -

They just don't get it do they😐👍😍🌱🌷🌷🌷🌷🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
