Help ID Plant

Hello, 

Would be grateful if anyone could ID this plant that has recently appeared amongst my border. Wondered if it was a river based plant?

    Phlomis russeliana aka Turkish or russian sage. (though not a salvia).
    It will have yellow flowers then the old stems are quite architectural if you leave them for winter.

    Hi, Thanks for the super quick replies. I did wonder if itwould flower. Heaven knows how it got here although I do live a 2 min walk to Roy Lancaster’s old stomping ground of Moss Bank Park Rock Garden. Must have blown up the lane! It sits nicely in the shaded part of my garden.
