Good Afternoon, i was wondering if anyone can help me? i have a Lilac Tree in the front garden, its a lovely tree and Wood Pigeons are slowly but surely destroying it, they are eating all of the new leaves (See Picture Attached) does anyone have a solution or idea to stop them from doing this? If they carry on will they kill the tree? Thank you.

    Pigeons do attack lilac trees, it's very difficult if not impossible to stop them. You could try something like a plastic decoy owl (keep moving it around or they'll get used to it). A bit of info from the RHS here

    They don't like shiny dangly things. My mum uses spinners from a bargain shop. I use old cd discs.
