Help needed! Why is my Lupin drooping?

I planted this Lupin around a month ago now. It bloomed beautifully a couple of weeks ago.
We had to cut the biggest stem off as it was dying but the others, as you can see, remained.
I have come to look at my Lupins today and seen this. We have had very heavy rain for the past couple of days, so wondering if that has something to do with it?
Is there anything I can do?

Thanks in advance.

The weight of the rain bends the stems. You can gently give them a shake to remove some of the water. It is possible to support flower stems by tying them to canes but I must admit I don't bother.
