What's wrong with my Victoria plum tree?

Hello all,
So I've never had a plum tree before but i have become the proud owner of a Victoria plum growing in the garden of my new home....

I've noticed the leaves aren't looking too happy. Please see photo. Can anyone enlighten me please?  Not all leaves are like this. Some are looking very healthy!

Thanks in advance.

My mate has the same problem and a lot of his plums have white growth on them which causes the plum to shrivel

That looks like aphid damage. Wash any aphids off the tender new growth with a jet of water from a hose.

Attracting bluetits, hoverflies lacewings and ladybirds and into the garden will help deal with aphids in the future.

Healthy trees will outgrow most aphid attacks do don’t panic. 😊

    That sounds like brown rot.
