no flowering hebe

I have a Hebe Sutherlandii that was in flower when I bought it but has not flowered for two years can anyone offer advice?

Have you pruned it at all?
They flower on old wood from the previous year, so if you have given it a late snip in spring it wouldn't flower this year.
