ID Please - Bugs on nettles

Hi,
Does anyone know what this is? it seems to be all over my nettles...

I would say that what you are looking at is not an insect or a bug.
It is the result of an insect’s activity on the nettle plant. The plant has produced a blister which is obscuring the insect.
If you were to open up one of these blisters you might find a sap sucking creature inside it. Or you might not. They often make the mess and move on.
The same sort of thing happens on blackcurrant bushes and it is caused by a special type of aphid.
EDIT: Forget all that. It’s caused by a fungus rust.

it is a rust called Puccinia urticata!
