I would either leave in the ground or pot where they were or else when the leaves have died back keep somewhere dry, dark and cool, like a shed. I've never wrapped them in anything, just left them in an empty pot or seed tray, replanted in autumn and they have come up again the following spring.
If they were indoor bulbs/forced, I have no experience of that, sorry.
