Came across these and wasn't sure if they are weeds so left .Is the first a sea holly as have one and maybe self seeded .No idea on the second.Any ideas appreciated .Or is this just wishful thinking?
Agree second one probably achillea - yarrow. Can be pretty, our lawn is about 50% yarrow. But is quite variable so can also have small grubby looking flowers, and does self seed. So if not in a spot that suits then yank it out.
I think it is phacelia which is loved by the bees and also makes a green compost. It is a hardy annual, germinates at a lower temperature so can be sown early. It seeds itself freely in my garden, but is over by midsummer, so repeat the sowing to have flowers later in the year

The second could be an Achillea but it's too blurred to be sure
