Cheap and filling

Hi all, no not talking about my lunch. I have some half barrels I am planning to plant DA roses in but can’t afford to buy all 7 roses at once so need suggestions for cheap bulky annuals to put in until I can get the roses I want. Pink lavender or white preferably so please pop on your thinking caps! Thanks in advance, all barrels are in sunny spots

    How about a cheap obelisk stuck in and grow some Chilean Glory Vine / Eccremocarpus Scaber up it...quick growing and prolific

    Mass planting of trailing lobelia with nothing else looks good. One tray would be enough

    You can get pink nigella seeds, or there's "Persian Jewels mixed".

    Verbena and calibranchoa? A cloud of lobelia would look good as @B3 suggested.

    Thanks so much for all your suggestions I love the photo just my sort of colours. Will have a look in my little local plant shop and pick something pretty!
