I've got aliums in pots. Can I leave them in the pots after flowering and do I chop the seed heads when they have finished flowering ?

Alliums are better in the ground really , a lot of people leave the seed heads because they still look nice, cutting the seed heads off will put more energy back in the bulb though.

No where to put them into the ground I'm afraid. I will leave the seed heads on until the autumn and then give them the snip ! Thank you !
